Walk on Etna

The tour includes a walk through beeches, pines  wood and lava desert (about two hours) that will let you lean out from the edge of the famous Valle del Bove  and admire the massive Etna and enjoy the astonishing scenario from the  central craters to  the Ionian Sea.

At the end of the trail you will visit a typical lava tube (with helmet and front light provided) and for the greediest ones  there  will be a honey and other ypical Sicilian products tasting.

Difficulty ': Medium / Easy

Equipment required: sneakers or hiking shoes (recommended), layered clothing (even in summer), windproof jacket, at least 1 liter water.

Etna & Alcantara

 Immediately after there will be a quick lunch at conventioned structure and the day will continue with the visit of the spectacular and famous Alcantara Gorges, and with a pleasant walk along the  river’s ands to admire beautiful waterfalls and natural lakes where it will also be possible to have a refreshing bath.

Easy Etna

The excursion includes a pleasant and easy walk along the edges of the lateral craters (now off ) was born with the eruption of 1865, at the end of the path you will continue with the visit of a characteristic of the cave of lava flows (fitted with helmet and front light) and for the most gluttonous is expected to have a taste of honey and typical sicilian products.
Difficulty: Easy

Etna SpeleoTrek

This excursion starts near refuge Citelli (1750 above s.l) on the North-East side of Etna. The first distance is inside a beautiful wood of beeches, birches and pines. We go through sandy distance and some lava stone canyons with particular shapes and colors due to the snow melt water sliding in the spring.

After around 2 kilometers, we visit Saracozzo cave (with helmets and headlight);it is an amazing lava tube generated by the lava flow of 1971. After this inspection and a deserved break, we confront with 300 meters difference in altitude in a panoramic path to reach Serra delle Concazze. Here we can enjoy the beauty and vastness of Valle del Bove.

 We go forward for  some hundred meters on the edge of  the valley toward Pizzi de Neri and the impressive South-East crater. When we arrive at Piano delle Concazze, we hike down throw sand volcanic dunes to visit the famous Sartorius craters.

Central Craters

This  exciting excursion that will allow you 'to have a look on what was once called "The Underworld" door.

The tour includes the ascent by special 4x4 vehicles (shared with other hikers) from an altitude of 1800 m. a.s.l. up to an altitude of 3000 m. a.s.l. m, from this first stop on you’ll be taken by  mountain-Volcanological guides up to the edge of the main crater to enjoy a unique spectacle. Along the way it  will be possible to visit some extinct volcanic cones and a characteristic lava cave, typical of this volcanic environment.

Three levels Cave
the excursion provides access to the most famous cave of Etna lava flows, All activities are performed in absolute safety under the guide and supervision of experienced staff

Difficulty: average
Required Equipment: Tennis shoes or hiking, dress in layers, equipment provided: speleological suit, sling, helmet, light.

TuffAlcantara

Fascinating and evocative aquatic hiking that takes place  within beautiful lakes created by the intense activity of the river Alcantara. Jumps, slides and much more are waiting for you.

Canyoning

Adventurous excursion that will let you tread a spectacular canyon carved into the limestone by the continuous erosion of the water (using  mountaineering equipment and expertise of qualified  staff)
